My name is Lynn Nolan Molanders: follower of Christ, wife, mama to five boys, grandma to 9 grandchildren,, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, cancer survivor, and last but not at all least photographer. I have loved photograpy for as long as I can remember and when I was younger was quite the ham. My husband gave me a camera for my birthday in 2006, but my love for the craft began when I was a teenager and my dad began to show me how to use his 35mm camera. When I got the camera for my birthday from my dear hubby I was so excited. I began to shoot everything, and then came the diagnosis that changed my life forever. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2008, and life became a priceless treasure. At that time I set out to capture every moment and freeze that moment for eternity. I survived it. I began to take even more photos. Friends and family began to tell me that I should do it for a living. My first thought was... Can I do that? Can I take something I absolutely love and make money with it? Facebook became my outlet for displaying my work. After about a year I decided I needed a more substantial camera. I got my first DSLR in January 2010. I think I must have found something to shoot every single day. Hubby and I would load up and go on photo safaries. I am a natural light photographer. I love shooting people in a natural setting using the light from the sun. I also love landscape photography. Photorgaphy is not just my job, its my passion.
